The overall objective of the Education Programme is to support access to quality education and skills to facilitate and sustain development in the future.
This programme is currently being supported by NOVIB and is being implemented in the whole region of Nuba Mountains. Presently NOVIB is supporting 55 expatriates’ teachers from Kenya who are teaching in 33 schools. NRRDO also supports the schools through the provision of scholastic materials
WFP is also supporting the education Sector through School Feeding Programme in the 33 schools. They also support building of classrooms and offices. Another activity under the Education Programme is a three-year programme under Skills Consortium whereby the target is to build 12 schools.
